how to capture a quality black and white photo

1. if there is ever a photo with bland colors or a very plain background changing the filter to a series of black and white options my help to spice it up a bit

2. some patterns can be showcased better using a black and white lens

3. the subject in a silhouette may be more distinct if the setting is changed to black and white

4. there are some photos that are better off in color-- at least in my opinion

as you can see changing the filter to a series of black and white filters can also add more depth and defined lines to images.  these tips may work on some photos, in the end it is all about personal preference. have fun playing around with your own camera roll!!
