about me

Hey, this is Morgan.  Three words that describe me would be hardworking, laid back, and fun.  Some things I like to do is work, spend time with family, and be outside.  When it comes to the internet/ social media vs. real life I am the same person.  I think it would be hard to change personalities and other characteristics so I like to keep it the same.  On this blog I plan to post various photos across various themes.  I will characterize them by similar photo elements, locations, color, etc. I hope the content of this blog will catch your eye and inspire you to take your own photos.

I chose this picture because it is a sneak peak of other photos I will showcase on my blog. This particular photo was taken this summer at a rodeo up north.  This captivating image also represents my dream to move (south) west in the next five years!

capture moments through different lenses

I PHONE i phones have a series of different filters that will bring out and add different colors to your image.  they also offer the option of different lenses.  some examples are normal "photo" mode there is also a "portrait", "square", "pano" modes that may be appropriate at any given time.   these photos are both taken on an apple iPhone 7 plus in the instant filter.  the photo on the right was taken in portrait mode.  portrait mode blurs the background so that all the focus goes toward the subject, that is then the only thing the eye focuses on.   among the nine filters apple offers there are three black and white options.  each one has different aspects of light and dark that can be fitting for one photo, but not so much the next.                          here is an example of one picture in the three apple black and white filters.  the filters from lef...
